Yeah…lol, that was one of the videos Greg and I watched while he started giving me Epidermal Surgery…also known as working on my coverup!!!!

Went really well, sore already though..heh…so worth it though. We got off to a late start today, but Greg planned his whole day around my tattoo so it went good. Things moved pretty quickly, and we got the outline done in record time, so we went ahead and started the coloring.

Toward the end I started bleeding a shit ton and just not holding it very well so we quit. You can tell where I started kicking the color out around the tail and on the top of the head and hands.

You can see bits and pieces here and there, mainly over his back pipe, but over all I can honestly say…what old tattoo? Of course when I go back after it’s healed up, we’re going to re-hit the thin spots while we’re doing the background, which will make it disappear completely!

Anyhow…went to greg the other day and got started on my cover up. You know…the one based on the fact that it was ripped off. Thanks assholes. Anyhow…couldn’t get started on it because greg didn’t have the right needles in. Sometime next week hopefully!

After Greg took a pic of the original we sized it and printed it up. We then proceeded to talk about what I wanted. One name. Giger. You know…the guy who does all the biomech style art and shit. The design of the xenomorph from Alien was based off of it. Soooo it was a good way to start. First the cover up piece with minor light strokes just to fill in as background on the paper. This is going to take up the rest of my right arm. It’s all “Gregor” instead of Giger. He drew this from scratch, straight out of his head:

Yeah…it’s bad ass. I think i’m going to have him put a face hugger in there somewhere as well. THere are also goingto be random biomech skulls, and shit. Just crazy shit in general. But this is step one. errr…Phase One. If you wanna know any ideas on what the rest is going to be like, just google H.R. Giger. you’ll get the picture real quick.

Hopefully if all goes as planned we’ve got a show this coming friday, that’s a paying gig! Hanover College baby yeah! Over 200 people!

Then the next day, we’re set up for the big idea, then the following two more saturdays we’re at the big idea as well. Rock the Hut should be taking place somewhere in between as well. Busy busy busy. We’re set to go back in and tweak and redrop vocals and new tracks and get on with the damn album. I wanna say Xmas time….hopefully.

I’m getting over one hell of a sinus infection. One of the medicines I’m on can cause “Severe headaches”, can you say MIGRANES……again…FUCK
Anyhow it’s the lesser of the two evils since I like breathing without pain.

Picked up Bioshock a couple of weeks ago…err…alright…it was last week. But it was killer. I reached a stopping point about 25% through and haven’t touched it since. Just been too lazy? Busy? I dunno. I’m going to pick it up tonight again though. I think I’m also going to fire up the SNES and play through Super Mario World. It’s been too too long.

Oh the big big news! I’m getting an ARCADE Machine for my birthday. Well…early birthday. Too good a deal to pass up. The original Gauntlet, with a four player cabinet. It also comes with the Gauntlent two jamma board so I could switch out. Which means I could also throw in TMNT, and X-MEN four player action! BOOYAH!!!!!!! I love being spoiled fucking rotten!

Anyhow…time to get off here…the medications are overriding my sense of spelling!
