It’s never ending

Well guys, it’s been a long ass week or so…just over a week actually. We played at battle, we “tied” for 3rd. With Charming the Savage placing 1st and Spookez 2nd. Why say “tied”? Because everyone else who did not place, “tied” for third.

Big loss..whoohoo. Our singer did happen to grace the front page of the Madison Courier though! There is also a DVD of it coming out, which I got a copy coming. As soon as it does, we’re going to be posting the videos.

We did really good, and for the first time being on stage for a while we meshed really good. My shoulder happened to slip out during our first song, but it popped back in and I pushed through. Sexton held back and just chilled while playing. We did kick ass though.

We hit the studio this past sunday, and we worked on our four newer tracks. Dirge, Broken List, Black Eyes, and Shiftless. We got them done and just lacks some minor tweaking here and there. The others though? That’s a different story, we can’t even screw with them yet because the plugins we used all have expired licenses and they need to renew them. That’s cool though because we mixxed down and happened to spend a while tweaking my drum sound. The bassdrum has a click (which I tried to avoid, but now…) It has a punch as well. So it’s the best of both evils!

As you can see from our “music player” (www.myspace.com/wh86) all four have been uploaded. We expect good (read honest) reviews and hope to hear from you all soon!

We are also playing at the Punkhouse next Saturday in madison. In case you don’t know where that’s at…it’s where fizzes used to be!!!

Well..tonight is the big night. Transformers on the bigscreen! I’m fucking excited….again. Yeah…you read it right…AGAIN! While picking up the preordered tickets last Thursday, the lady at the ticket counter gave me what looked to be a transformers post card…

Walking out, after counting the tickets, I flipped it over and noticed: “Special Preview Screening June 28th” and “FREE”.

I quickly ran back to the car, got Hammett and Bug and ran inside! Total cost: $15.50 for snacks and drinks. BOOYAH!!

AND HELL YES! THE MOVIE KICKS FUCKING ASS! My testicles exploded when I seen blackout transform for the first time and heard the classic g1 sound mixxed in!

This Thursday is also Battle of the bands! We’ve been really busting balls to get this fucking show up to level. We were given 20 minutes to play and instead of rushing a fourth song which we could’ve squeezed in, we decided to tweak and play with the three and get them sounding fucking spot on better than fucking ever. Our set list will include:

Forsaken (New Tweaked Out Live Version)

Lost Cause (Tweaked out to make it really stand out and just JAM)

And finally we’re ending it with Jealousy, with minor tweaks by Sexton, and myself deciding to compliment eachother instrumentally. Yeah…you may not notice the tweak at first…but damn it it’s there!

We’re playing at 7:00 and I hope to see everyone there. We’re going to be putting on a hell of a show!
